Since 1957, the family business Galerie Walu has focused on the fascinating cultures of West Africa.

We see our task in continuing the tradition of traditional African art and in promoting intercultural understanding through exhibitions, publications, loans, donations, etc.

What sets us apart are our personal connections with the countries of origin, the comprehensive knowledge in cultural anthropology and art history and the practical experience on the market for African art which we have acquired over decades.

In addition to the purchase and sale of African art, we are at your disposal as specialists for expert opinions, valuations, consulting and inventorizations.

Both to the initiates and to the neophytes, the Walu Gallery offers an interesting forum where they can make themselves familiar with the artistic creativity of Africa.
